What is an International Driving Permit (IDP)?

An International Driving Permit (IDP) is an international travel document, regulated by the United Nations, which allows you to drive in a foreign country. It must be carried alongside your valid domestic driver's license from your home country.

It does not replace your original license. Essentially, it is a standardized multi-language translation of your driver's license，it is issued through worldwide network。Most countries require visitors to have an IDP if they want to drive outside of their home country. Having an IDP means you are able to drive in foreign countries without the need for further tests or applications. IDP is an addition, not a replacement of your national driving licence.

IDP Verification Card

The IDP card is a translation of your driving license. It is more compact than the booklet and great for IDP verification on the go. It has your license details in English. The IDP card complements your driving license, it is not valid on its own. You must carry your driving license with also for it to be valid.

The IDP Booklet, provided in printed format, encompasses the driver's license information submitted during the online application process.
It comprises a total of 16 pages, incorporating:
